The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Yes we all are victims of informations and initiatives bombarding, not all necessarily by the media it could be in front of our faces but overlooked by our subconsciousness.

"Although some might be good, others bad and the rest ugly. "

Good campaigns - this are the direct campaigns, straight forward and very precise.



Above is another campaign creatively executed, but also not to mention its tie to the channel 4 advert video. due to the similarity, this advert might be mistaken for another similar (in this case channel 4) but its edginess would have people interested to see where it ends which would lead back to the brand/company airing their name at the end of the advert video.




Above is an example of a good campaign that is straight forward and precise and not to mention the cleverly thought idea that required a little or no budget as they have taken advantage of the news broadcasting across the globe. The achievement for this campaign went beyond intended attainment for both awareness and estimated fund raising.

What makes a successful campaign?

Firstly what is a campaign

These are series of planned activities with a particular social, commercial or political aim. Campaign could be of various types, which are advertising campaigns, election campaigns , a campaign to raise money for the needy.

But what does a campaign require

Lets put it this way, consider all factors ;

1 Before considering a name or the name, what is the campaign for. The campaign must have a purpose, an objective if you want i.e for what, for whom and why. Think about your audience the campaign is aimed at and why you carry out the campaign.

2 The second aspect should be how to go about carrying out your campaign, how to grab the audience attention, best mediums to communicate, how to make it convincing....... Also consider where your campaign would take place i.e on the web, a venue/gathering,..... Where your audience are most likely to be.....where would you relate to them better think about the environment generally.

3 The most important of all is when. When! when! when!....when do you make your move, when do you know you are making progress, when do you know you have attained your goal, when would the campaign end....would it continue.
